Antonio Santos (l38123@beta.ist.utl.pt)
---------------------------------------
I'm sorry, but I won't give out the PointerX source just yet, for several
reasons, partly because I think there's enough PointerX clones out there
already, without adding more.., secondly, because I want another 5 minutes
of fame before letting someone else take over my work.
Hope you enjoy the Hires ptr you (like so many others) requested.
Greg Gerke (Greg_Gerke@itd.sterling.com)
----------------------------------------
Thanks for the kind words, hope you enjoy this version just as much
(if not more!) because it's been the busiest revision so far !
Bernardo Innocenti (bernie@nikita.nervous.com)
----------------------------------------------
Well, I think I incorporated all of your wishes into this version.
If I missed any, maybe they'll appear in a future release
enjoy my work...
Don Wise (dwise@infinet.com)
----------------------------
Sorry Don, But us shareware authors just cannot afford such nice goodies
as `Picasso II' boards, which is crying shame huh?
Unfortunatly, it also means I cannot really bugfix PointerX !
I now think I know what's wrong, and maybe I'll have it fixed up sometime.
Rob Semenoff (semenoff@sask.usask.ca)
-------------------------------------
° Hires Ptr... Yup.
° Sprite garbage: Hmm.. odd one this, can't seem to reproduce it..
Maybe it's gone ? You reported on v3.05, and things have changed radically
since then, if it shows up again, get in touch!
Please tell me more about your system when submitting bug-reports ;-)
Kevin N Barbary/Jack Meoff (knb@ukc.ac.uk) (2 guys or a split personality?)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
° Hires pointer added.
° WB Dragselect bug... Oops! - Some people actually liked this (!?)
Personally, I never noticed until you mentioned it, but I (like others)
kinda liked it! I'll add a switch to turn it off sometime.
° Hand speed - Maybe later
° Speeling Mistook in docs corrected... (Happy?!)
Russ 'Lord Argel' LeBar (c621412@showme.missouri.edu)
-----------------------------------------------------
° I couldn't figure what `PatchPointer' was supposed to do, and so didn't
do anything for it. Please give me details on what it does for you!
° AnimBrushes? See the program `SleepPointers'.
° 16 Colours? Maybe later.
Mikko Apo (mapo@snakemail.hut.fi)
---------------------------------
° Your guru description sounds more like a combination of DirWork, and
QMouse than PointerX, so I think that I'm safe on this one... (I hope)
If you can isolate it the problem to PointerX, then please EMAIL me
again.
° Yup, it was a typo, it's now corrected!
THOMAS Philippe (thomas@pascal.u-strasbg.fr)
--------------------------------------------
° Hires Pointer support added.
° Optional 12:00 resetting is something I'll add for 4.02 definatly.
° You didn't like the speed of the animation? Ah, that's the secret
hypnotic trance mode, which makes you send me lots of money...
What? It didn't work ? Oh.. in that case, I'll incorporate a SPEED
switch sometime! ;^)
° Bad English ? Nope... You did real fine dude.. I understood what you
had written, and that's all that counts..
Klaus Alexander Seistrup (kas@mink.ping.dk)
-------------------------------------------
° Guide is now tidied up somewhat.
° Hires Pointer support added.
Kenneth Fribert (kfribert@scala.ping.dk)
Adam Hough (hough@flash.cuc.ab.ca)
Johan Winaes (BAS9402@maskin.ing.hb.se)
Walter Dees (walterd@stack.urc.tue.nl)
Peter ? (pbagnato@jax.jaxnet.com)
----------------------------------------
° All you guys only asked for a HiRes PointerX, so here it is!.. Enjoy.
George Hornmoen
---------------
It's Pointer-X, not X-Pointer! ;^) Sounds too much like X-Windows the
other way around ;^)
??? (Niallm@avernus.internet-eireann.ie)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Does PointerX work at all on your system? I find it quite strange that
it doesn't animate at all.. Maybe you have something else running which
patches the same functions as PointerX ? Try making sure that PointerX is
the first to run, by changing it's position in the Startup-sequence, OR
if you run it from WBStartUp, then change the STARTPRI tooltype.
If it still don't work! Then maybe there's a strange problem with WB40.25
I'm only running 39.29, so I'm a little out of date ;^)
I'll have to update mine sometime...
Fred van Dijk (Fred@utelscin.el.utwente.nl)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
° Anim files? See `SleepPointer.'
° TABS in docs.. removed, and replaced with spaces ;-P
To all others who I've missed..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm sorry ;^)
A guy only has SO much time, which I'd rather spend coding, than greeting.
So if I have missed >YOU< out, then I'm sorry, but THANKS! for the mailing.
